Terms of Service & Rental Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Vista Motorcycle Rental Davao services. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

Renters must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with motorcycle restriction (Restriction Code 1 for Philippine licenses) or a valid foreign driver’s license (valid for 90 days from Philippine entry date). Original license must be presented at pickup.

2. Booking & Reservation

Bookings are confirmed once we respond with availability confirmation. An optional ₱500 reservation fee may be paid via GCash to lock in your dates — this amount is deducted from your total rental cost on pickup, and is fully refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Bookings made within 48 hours of pickup are subject to availability and cannot guarantee hotel delivery.

3. Pickup & Delivery

We deliver free of charge to any hotel, hostel, or Francisco Bangoy International Airport within Davao City. The renter must inspect the motorcycle and sign the rental agreement at pickup. Any pre-existing damage will be documented and acknowledged in writing.

4. Rental Period & Returns

Rentals are charged on a 24-hour basis from the agreed pickup time. Late returns of more than 1 hour will be charged an additional partial-day fee. The motorcycle must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered, with the agreed fuel level.

5. Renter’s Responsibilities

The renter is solely responsible for: operating the motorcycle safely, obeying all Philippine traffic laws, wearing the provided helmet at all times, fuel costs, parking fees and traffic fines incurred during the rental period, and reporting any damage, theft, or accident immediately to +63 976 036 5130.

6. Insurance & Liability

Our motorcycles carry comprehensive insurance with commercial rental use declared. However, the renter is liable for: damage caused by negligence, reckless driving, or operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs; loss of vehicle keys or documents; and any traffic violations or fines. Damages will be assessed and charged based on actual repair cost or insurance excess.

7. Prohibited Use

The motorcycle must not be used for: racing or stunt riding; transporting illegal goods; off-road or extreme terrain unsuitable for the model; carrying more passengers than designed; or operating outside the agreed geographic area without prior written approval.

8. GPS Tracking

All motorcycles are fitted with GPS trackers with remote engine cutoff capability for security purposes. By renting, you consent to location tracking during the rental period.

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 24+ hours before pickup: full refund of any reservation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours: reservation fee may be forfeited. No-shows: full forfeiture of reservation fee.

10. Guarantees

On-Time Delivery Guarantee: If we fail to deliver your scooter by the agreed delivery time (bookings made 48+ hours in advance with confirmed hotel address), your first rental day is free. 2-Hour Ride Test: If you’re unsatisfied with the scooter condition within the first 2 hours, return it for a full refund — no questions asked.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Davao City.
